First, the trucks had to be unloaded.
Then they had to be reloaded. Here I am getting some conduit from our shop stash.
Loading trucks took until about 9pm-about an hour past out bedtime!😄😄🤷♂️
At least I got to drink beer while loading up!
5:30 am at our place was busy! While we were loading final stuff on the trucks, Joel and Amy were here loading up for a meat delivery.
We were already a good 50 miles or so from home when the sky started to change colors.
We hit Flagstaff a little before 8am and picked up a bunch of parts from our solar supplier, then went over to the Home Depot to grab a few things real quick.
Then it was off to the job-but not the one you’re probably thinking of.
Some of you may remember we were at this house at the base of Snow Bowl just about a year ago.
It’s got a cool little system.
We were here to add a third battery because the owner had decided to add to his capacity.
Here’s Denise putting the finishing touches on installing the new battery.
We had to load firmware updates into the two existing batteries so that the new one could talk to them.
After a couple of hours of work, everything was installed and tested, and it was time to leave this job and head to the next one.👍👍
The view as we were leaving with the changing leaves of the aspens was quite pretty.
On our way back through Flagstaff, we tried a new spot for lunch. Cool old Buick!!😍
We finally landed back at our big job around 3pm.
The ditch we had ordered dug was ready for us to install conduit.
The rest of the day was spent tending to a bunch of details that we didn’t get pictures of.
Tomorrow the real work here resumes.
