We were hampered by constant rain storms, some damaged conduit, a shortage of one size of conduit because apparently the guy who ordered it is too stupid to measure properly( that’d be me BTW,🙄😄😄), a shortage of that particular size of conduit locally compounding the issue, and the list goes on. The problems were capped off by a family member that landed in the hospital, which had us leaving the job early this morning to make the 5 hour trip to go check on them.
So having said all that, I will present the last pictures of this weeks progress with the understanding that the pictures and story might be a little messy.
Another early morning!
Another layer of conduits for the equipment pad.
Denise’s favorite new tool. More on this bad boy later-but let me just say that it was a godsend on this job.
Adding conduits for the transformers.
A bunch of pictures of our mostly completed conduit spaghetti bowl. 😄😄
While we didn’t get it as completed as we wanted, we did manage to get it completed enough to be ready for the conduit inspections that are scheduled for next week-no small feat considering all the challenges we felt with this week.
As we loaded up the truck to leave at 5am this morning, Mother Nature decided to throw us one last F you, and dumped a big thunder storm right in our lap, meaning we got wet and muddy loading up. Some weeks you just gotta fight for every inch of progress. 🤷♂️
