We have quite the collection of specialized tools that allow us to punch above our weight as a two person crew.
Additionally, anything we can to help us physically we are typically all for. We aren’t in bad shape, but we find ourselves in our early 50’s with bodies that are starting to feel the mileage of a lifetime of work. 🤷♂️🙄
One such tool we recently finally sprung for is this Milwaukee cordless strut shear.
We do a lot of strut.
Now, I’ve gotten really good and pretty fast at cutting strut with a bandsaw-but this thing is SOOOOO much faster! And zero need to deburr-which is always a time consuming process and not without its hazards from grinders and wire wheels.
This tool makes the cut, makes it square, and makes it clean in just a couple seconds.
The only drawback-other than the price tag-is it takes a little practice to get the strut in and out of the tools die sets, and you really need to make sure the strut is clean so as not to cause excessive wear on the die sets.
Seriously-this tool kicks ass. 💪💪
