We left the shop just after 5am and headed east towards Flagstaff to pick up parts and breakfast before hitting the job site.
We hit scattered fog and sprinkles all the way , with the sprinkles turning to real rain just west of Flagstaff as the last of the storm spent itself.
Denise making an improvised umbrella/rain jacket leaving our favorite Flagstaff hardware store.
As we wrapped up breakfast at Cracker Barrel, the weather was just starting to break and there were some pretty cool rainbows to be seen.
We arrived to a job site that was rapidly drying out in the sun and wind and got right to work unloading supplies and parts.
Our job box was listing dangerously to starboard from the rain softened earth, but luckily didn’t capsize. ( because this is a boating site, after all. 😄😄)
We put our new template right to work.
It had us dialed in and installing conduits in short order.
By 7pm, the inverters were mounted, and we had staged several thousand feet of PV wire to be ready for tomorrow’s wire pull.
The wind had picked up, the temperature dropped, and we retired to our nice warm trailer for the night.
