Yesterday was clear, warm, sunny, with big blue skies and just a pleasant day weather-wise.

We continued terminating panels all throughout the day, slowly chewing through our punch list of wires that needed landed.

Denise wrestled this 208/120 panel inside the building while it was still cold and crisp out first thing in the morning.

Everything gets torqued. This breaker called for 275 inch-pounds.

This big sum bitch was 500 inch pounds.

These battery fuse bolts wanted 55 inch pounds and our cute little 1/4” wrench.

Had to crimp some cable lugs for the batteries.
The Milwaukee crimper is definitely a time saver here!
The Dewalt cordless heat gun is awesome if you have just a few heat shrinks to do and don’t want to be bothered bringing out a corded one.

By 8pm, we had finally finished our last termination tasks with the completion of the two transformers.
Woo!!

Today is a big day.
We will spend the first half of the day double checking EVERYTHING.
Torque on terminations.
Correct wiring.
Data cables.
Triple checking DC battery polarity-a mistake with reversed battery polarity will instantly fry 10’s of thousands of dollars worth of gear. 😬
We have engineers from Discover Energy and NAZ coming by to help and spectate turning on the system for the first time.
Finally, we will start energizing equipment.
If we did everything right-things are pretty boring and everything works as it should.
If we did anything wrong, things get exciting and expensive smoke billows out of equipment.
We will be hero’s or zeros with the flip of a few switches.
No pressure. 😬😬
