First up on our conduit to-do list was a trio of short 4” runs for the 400a 480 volt three phase circuits.

The 4” conduits and where they need to route are what necessitated a 3 foot deep trench.
Conduit this big is kinda a time consuming pain in the ass, and you really don’t want to make any mistakes because the conduit and fittings are expensive, and if the conduit isn’t put in the right spot, it’s difficult to impossible to make it right once the concrete has been poured.
So slow and careful was the order of the day.

You might as well insert your jokes about Denise playing with big pipe here. Cause Lord knows I did-the big pipe jokes went on for hours. 😄😄

And there it is-the first conduit run successfully installed on the racks! 💪

While Denise and I played with big pipe-yes, I had to get my hands on the big pipe too, and yes there were jokes about that too😄😄- someone else showed up…

That’s right, everyone’s favorite Monkeys Wrench showed up in the rescue Prius to patch up some of our stuff.

By lunch time, the 4” conduits were all installed, and rain showers were moving in, so it was into the trailer to hide out for a bit.
